Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures gives you the hunting and fishing experience of a lifetime as you go through the hunting expedition from Utah to Mexico and to New Zealand. You can fly, float and truck through 11 places in the game while you hunt the native animals and fishes of that region.

There are two modes of play for the Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures, out of which the Play Mode is more suited for the beginners to get used to the hunters life. The Adventure Mode of the game is the place where the true meat of the game lies. In the adventure mode the player has the option to select the character for hunting. There is also an option for changing the appearance of the character to an extent. Once the character is finalized, you can enter into the shop and purchase the necessary items needed for the hunting expedition.

The store is equipped with almost all kinds of items needed by a hunter, like clothing, firearms, accessories, tents, water jugs, binoculars, etc. But make sure to purchase the things wisely as the hunter may not have enough stamina to hunt a fast running deer with his backpack containing a heavy tent. Selection of right equipments for the adventure is a must for getting bonus points during the expedition. Shooting a right animal will give some bonus points to the player while shooting a wrong animal may cost you stand on the same stage without clearing it. Once the mission is achieved, the player is allowed to improve some of the character attributes. Fishing is allowed in all the 11 places which has as many as variety of fishes. The hunting expedition can become more exciting by competing in shooting contests.

Cabela’s Outdoor Adventures is a game for those who loves to have a true-to –life hunting experience.
